Master's degree in Economics - graduate of the University of Economics in Katowice, he also completed post-graduate studies to gain professional qualifications of property appraiser" at the same university.

He started his professional career as an inspector of the Commercial Inspection in Katowice.

From 2008 to 2021, he was employed as a provincial inspector in the Department of Civil Affairs and Foreigners in the Silesian Voivodeship Office in Katowice.

In 2009, having passed the qualification procedure and examination, he became a nominated civil servant.

He participated in a number of trainings on migration law, labour law and administrative law organised by the Office for Foreigners in Warsaw and the Border Guard Headquarters.
