A long-term resident’s EU residence permit entitles a foreigner to stay in Poland for an indefinite period (ie permanently).

This permit may be granted to a foreigner who:

• stays in Poland legally and continuously for at least 5 years;
• has a source of stable and regular income within 3 years of residence in Poland immediately before submitting the application (or for a period of 2 years in the case of persons possessing the Blue Card);
• has a proven knowledge of Polish;
• has health insurance;
• has the right to the place where he lives.
